Counterfeit Belizean currency found in Mexico

Contraband markets, like counterfeit money, are no easy feat for authorities to crack down on.  So when counterfeit money turns up at contraband market then the problem is compounded for police and customs officials.  Well that is the case coming from the Botes and La Union areas along the Mexican/Belizean border.  The report is that over the past three weeks more than forty Belizean counterfeit notes in varied denominations were confiscated and the suspicion is that there may be more in circulation.  In fact authorities feel that for every fake note that has gone detected, about a hundred more have slipped through the economic seep and now made their way into wider circulation.  A collaborative effort between Belizean and Mexican counterparts is now underway to apprehend the prime suspect behind the fake bills.

This situation will only make it harder for Belizeans to have any dealings in Mexico in the future, crimes are here to stay.

I am 100% sure, that this counterfeit didn’t start in Belize. Mexicans are very brazen/creative people. They even come here to the US and make US ID CARDS, PASSPORTS, BIRTH CERTIFICATES and if you don’t know the features on the DOCUMENTS, it LOOOKS REAL.
    SO THERE YOU GO.
