Viewers respond to Operation Jaguar

About seventy B.D.F. soldiers, thirty police officers and a smaller number of Coast Guard personnel are deployed to conduct Operation Jaguar. The financial costs are not known but the operation is taking place around the clock in the hot spots of the City. We asked our viewers on Tuesday night: Do you think Operation Jaguar is sustainable in the long term to keep the streets safe? The response was a mixed bag, sixty-one percent of persons who polled said yes while thirty-nine percent said no. I wouldn’t call it a mixed bag, really.

61% is a signifant number of people.

Now a ratio of 55 – 45 percent would be something of a mixed bag.

    But come on, 39 – 61 … that’s a big difference!

WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR HEALTH/SAFETY, money shouldn’t be an issue, especially when it is tax payers that are footing the bill. I would rather they pay the POLICE/BDF overtime money than the POLITICIANS giving themselves a big raise or spending it on theirselves.
