Cracker gets 16 years in prison for $400 jacking

Albert Middleton AKA Cracker

Sixteen years, that’s the sentence that Albert Middleton aka Cracker got today before Acting Chief Magistrate Sharon Frazer for stealing four hundred dollars in cash, a ring and a cell phone. His victim was a cashier at the Miami Grocery Shop on Euphrates Avenue. While Middleton was charged with stealing the cash from eighteen year old Evy Espejo, the money was the property of businessman, Jingesh Painter, the owner of the store, but the ring and cell phone belonged to Espejo. When he took the stand, Espejo said that on September ninth, 2009 Middleton grabbed his phone as he was looking for a phone number and then pulled out a gun and ordered him to hand over the cash in the register.  He refused and according to Espejo, Middleton grabbed a plastic bag, placed the cash in it and took his ring and phone before he rode away.   Middleton was captured later at a home on Amara Avenue. On sentencing Middleton became angry and disrespectful and told the magistrate he would be appealing the conviction since he is innocent of the crime.

He gets Sixteen years in prison for this, and a murderer gets less.
