Attorney says Brian Vernon did not kill “Shaggy”
Two Dangriga men were accused in the 2008 murder of Shannon “Shaggy” Henderson, who was shot after an altercation in Placencia. They were Brian Vernon and Gregory Casildo of Dangriga, but Casildo was later murdered in a shootout as he attempted to elude police. Vernon, however, still had to face the music and his trial started last Wednesday. He received good news today when a no case submission was upheld by Judge Adolph Lucas, who agreed with attorney Arthur Saldivar, that there was not sufficient proof that Vernon worked along with Casildo in committing the crime. Saldivar submitted that Casildo was the gunman and that Vernon was not aware of his intentions to shoot Henderson. The jury was then directed to find him not guilty. Henderson was fatally shot on Valentine’s Day, February fourteenth 2008 when the two accused were among a group of five visiting his home on the peninsula. But he and Casildo got into an argument over four hundred dollars that went missing from his home. Casildo lost his temper, pulled out a gun and shot Henderson to the abdomen and back.

it is really sad to know that our country let these people get away with these crimes every single time!!!!!
thats the reason it happens over again…
Casildo was not murdered. Casildo’s death was what is called a Justifiable Homicide, because it was during a shoot out with cops. The cops acted in self defence.
A murder on the other hand is an unjustifiable homicide it is something that is not legal.
These are the types of ridiculousness that rub people the wrong way. If the Police Officers are unable to frigging investigate a cases ,… Fire the bunch of them and get people who can. Damn Make a Department who specializes in Investigation only. LAwd Barrow to be a smart you only dumb sometime.
Give him a few weeks on the Streets again, and he will be gunned down. Wanna Bet? It will be good riddance.
ITS JUST LIFE
