Ghanaian national freed of immigration charges
In the local courts, a Ghanaian national was today freed of immigration charges for a lack of evidence. Thirty-six year old Lester Wugah, was allegedly found in possession of an Ethiopian Passport, which belonged to Alavar Demissie Dibaba. Since having another person’s passport without justifiable reason is a criminal offense, Wugah was charged on February second. He was initially denied bail because the prosecutor submitted that he was a person of interest in the police investigation and that he was not a Belizean national. Two weeks later, his attorney, Richard “Dickie” Bradley, successfully applied for bail at the Supreme Court. Wugah was back in court today, but the prosecutor could offer no evidence against him and the matter was struck out. The alleged discovery occurred on January twenty-ninth after police and Immigration personnel conducted a search of Wugah’s resident and found him in possession of an Ethiopian passport. He admitted to having the passport, but pleaded not guilty because he felt he had justifiable reason.

I hate it when foreigners disrespect Belizean law, making a mockery of our system really pisses me off. There is no reason why this idiot should be handling someone’s passport, unless it is a child’s passport, which I pretty much doubt it was. The only justifiable reason that is clear to me is that he was using the passport in an illegal way. Inarguably he is a much greater threat to Belize than a Muslim terrorist. This is n ignorance in action.
I can think of 101 ways to punish this idiot for breaking the law without any guilt.
