Family mourns the sudden death of minor

The family of a young boy is today mourning his sudden and tragic death. On Monday afternoon at around three o’ clock, Toledo Police were called to the home of Heidi Flowers, a twenty-three year domestic, of Bella Vista Village in the south. Reports are that around two-thirty, Javier Francisco Jacobo went to use the restroom and did not return. Javier’s absence, however, was not noted until Flower’s sister-in-law, Ingrid Roque, inquired about him. The two women searched the nearby area for the young boy and discovered his slippers floating in a nearby hole that was once used as a latrine. A search of the hole led to the lifeless body of the child.

Yet another case of child negligence, this mother should be beaten then hang by the neck till she is dead, sick of it.
Your child tells you he is going to use the toilet, (out/inside the house) take him to the toilet and wait for him.
two people alone in a house and her child gone missing and she did not notice anything strange, perhaps the child is in a much better place now.

First of all u need to find out the age of the child before u go making wild and crazy accusations. If any of u have children then u know it is physically impossible to have ur eye on them 27/7, they go to school and u need to work. Its a tragic accident, i know but get the facts before u judge people. (spoken as the mother of 4)

First of all where is the father everyone keeps asking about the mother? Are you assuming that the father was at work or he is just an absentee father like majority of our Belizean men. This is a tragic accident and like Kris said you need to first find out the age of the child and if you have children you will know that it is not possible to keep your eye on a child 24/7. And Tim it takes two to tangle, I have never heard about a sperm bank in Belize. As the old African proverb goes, “it takes a village to raise a child.’ Let’s be real. Oh and I also have children.

an open latrine should be against the law. That should be taken care of by a housing code law. Not only does the crime in Belize need attention, so do the living conditions of low income. families. The government needs to provide decent low income housing for the poorer persons of Belize.

The comments from maddyvandijk and tim are disgusting. You write as though you were resurrected from the Middle Ages.
