Breaking news: Body of elderly woman found in her home

althea dawson

The body of an elderly woman was discovered inside her home in the Faber’s Road Extension area of Belize City this afternoon.  The woman, sixty eight year old Marie Dawson, was discovered sometime after two this afternoon on Rio Bravo Crescent.  And while there was no evidence of forced entry, the family is still suspicious because Dawson’s door was opened and it was something she rarely did. The family says ,however, it is awaiting the results of the post mortem.  Forensic expert, Dr Mario Estradabran, arrived at the scene late this evening to conduct the autopsy.

This is so sad, i am one of the persons that brag about our violence free country….. this means that we should stand together as one nation and battle violence, maybe we can begin by being more active with our communities, such as the neighborhood watch programs, i am willing to volunteer.

Shocking, Shameful, and Unnecessary. The perpetrators of these crimes must pay the price for their actions. The courts have to start issuing punishments that fit the crime.
