Man charged for sodomizing 7 year old boy
In the other case of sexual abuse against a minor, the child in question was reportedly the victim of a prolonged period of sexual abuse but in this instance the victim is a young boy. The incident first came to the attention of authorities when the boy was taken by a parent to a local hospital last Friday and the attending pediatrician observed the telltale signs of sexual abuse. Tests were conducted and the results today confirmed that the seven year old of the Ladyville area was indeed the victim of an unnatural crime. The child told police in the presence of his mother that the perpetrator had been having sex with him since April of 2009, when he was six years old. The two are said to live in the same yard and police have already detained the suspect, an eighteen year old who is expected to be arraigned for charges of Unnatural Crime.

I am glad that this man is being charged. For far too long in our society and it other countries in the Caribbean, the reporting to the justice system and acknowledging of sexual abuse is considered taboo. More people need to come out and report these heinous crimes that are affecting our babies, that’s who these young children are, “Babies”. Parents, please listen to your kids and believe them and end the vicious cycle of silence, be a voice for your innocent children. REPORT THE CRIME, there’s no shame to that. The abuser should be ashamed.

I believe that when people abuse or take advantage of others rights, like this disgrace of a young .. who molested this child, they forfeit their own rights and legally should have none. The minute one hurts or kills anyone and deprives one of a full and meaningful life, he therefore is telling everyone that he has no rights and should get the same thing done to him. He did not only violate this childs body, but he robbed this child of a clean and fulfilling life, he destroyed who this child could have been.

When men commit rape against children and women I think that is one of the most evil things that men can ever do, and they should pay with their life, any lesser charge is lack of justice to a humane society.
I ask once again, WHERE WHERE THE PARENTS DURING THE ENTIRE PERIOD THEIR CHILD WAS BEING RAPED? (it did not just happend once)
There were clues left behind by the rapist, weather it was changes in the child behaviour, or visible clues left on his genitals, etc.
it is an abvious case of child neglet, should the parents/parent of this child be held responsible as well for what happened to their child? YES, YES, YES, give them harsh punishments as well, if you want to have kids, be good parents.
these kind of things happen so often in that country, for years women and children have been raped and beaten and abused and nothing has been done. If wanting full justice for this child makes me look like I am on a high horse, then so be it.
