Mother of three loses home and belongings in fire

Heading west, a mother and her three children lost all their belongings in a fire on Saturday night. The small wooden house in the Another World Area of Roaring Creek was gutted by flames that started from a candle the occupant of the house, Kendra Pech, left burning on top of the microwave. Pech and her children, ten year old Courtney Jeffords, nine year old Dion Wagner and seven year old Diane Wagner, were at her mother’s house when the fifteen and a half by sixteen structure burnt to the ground. Nothing was saved and by the time fire officials arrived at the scene, the house was fully engulfed and had collapsed.

Lucky this was not another case of parents leaving their kids at home alone with a burning candle for light. nothing that was burned in that fire does not amount to having your kids safe, warm and tucked away safely, you can always start over again.

    be well.
