Police search for clues for recent murders

Belize City police are tonight no closer to solving the weekend murders of Giovanni Lauriano and Niki Pinkard. Despite the detention of two suspects in connection with the Sunday evening slaying of Lauriano no charges have been brought against the men in custody. A post mortem examination conducted on the body of the thirty-three year old resident of Belizean American Site in Hattieville certified the cause of his death to be traumatic shock due to multiple gunshots. Lauriano was shot as many as three times in his head while attempting to flee his attackers who ambushed and pursued him about a hundred feet into a feeder road which extends off mile sixteen and a half on the Western Highway.
Niki Pinkard
Several hours after his murder gunshots rang out in Lauriano’s old neighborhood claiming the life of twenty-four year old Niki Pinkard. Pinkard, a resident of Plues and Berkeley Streets in Belize City, was socializing with his in-laws on Jasmine Street in St. Martin’s area when a lone gunman shot him twice at point blank range. The shooter whom eyewitnesses described as someone of dark complexion, dressed in full black and wearing a white cap, remains at large. Police have not yet been able to ascertain the motives for both murders but it is strongly believed that they are gang related.
Let them kill out dem selves. I pray and hope that innocents are not inculded in these future blood baths.

It is so sad that most young belizean men do not have the common knowledge to come together and make Belize a better place. It seems as if they really hate themself to kill out one another. They are worst than animals.
Exactly what i suggested, let the animals kill themselves.
It is in their blood and it is just a matter of time.
I blame the corrupted system for all these malicious crimes that are occuring in our country. How can it ever be fixed if the PM and the GSG gang are in bed together? GSG gang is the only gang that does senseless killing (along with the mayflower street crew) I personally have seen the relation between the PM and his representative with the GSG and I saw I don’t see the PM doing with the other gangs. Why is this? PM if yo da nuh d solution then u da d problem! Crimes has been escalating years before the UDP got into office but they surely help ***ed it up some more and got it out of hand to make matters worst.
Well I do not know who is really running Belize. To me Belize is not safe anymore and I do not blame tourist or any one who does not want to travel here anymore. The place is not safe which is a sad thing because Belize is a beautiful country.
