The tale of the fake cop has stunned pretty much everyone. How did Aaron Wilson con the cops at Eastern Division where he allegedly reported to work, went on patrol and threatened to make arrests? The extent of his misdeeds is still coming to light, but from initial reports the impersonator was wreaking havoc around town. Every story so far with the exception of the 19 year old walking at 4 AM included the presence of what we can only assume were real cops who appeared to play a passive role & then disappeared. Those officers need to be identified.
It is ironic that the BPD knew exactly where to find this fool, early in the morning. Is he really only 20, the lines in his forehead tell a different story.
By the way Ms. Martinez, I’m glad you turned him in but your lack of common sense could have caused yours & your ex-boyfriend’s demise. That evil twin running around inside your head will cause your parents grief, there is no man worth getting up that time of the morning & leaving the safety of your home for.
There is no question in my mind about whether the “fake cop” was being aided by members within the deparment. I workded at the the department some years ago while I was a “real cop.” in Belize City. It is not a whold lot larget than it used to be. It is impossible for a police to report to work without being aided from within. Not only was he being aided from within, I believe he was being aided by senior ranking officers.
He had to be aided and abetted by other officers, and it also shows lack of accountability in the BPD. There are still more fake cops, but they might have gone underground since this incident.
I have seen x cops riding with senior police officers, carring gun when they had already commited an alledge murder.
Sorry to say but operation restore Belize and operation jaguar just seems to be exciting names with no claim to it.
I think he looks 35. He didn’t work in a police station. Any cunumunu can go to a seamstress and have them sew a uniform. i see kids dress up in very reall looking uniforms for halloween. the man aspired to be a rogue cop, and he got caught. he needs therapy. he wasn’t aided, no one just never thought someone would dare pretend to be a cop and try to associate with them. it’s a good cover.

i know for a fact that many officers within the cayo police formation had contact with this person as many of days he was walking up and down inside and outside along with police officers from the cayo formation. these officers there needs to be investigated and there is another one who is still at the police station in cayo, who is not a police nor a special constable but is being tolerated by inspector mai.
What gets to me is that the Police Department is still using laminated paper as Identification Cards… Any fool with a computer and a printer can fake that stuff.
its clearly tru u kno! i am from down south and during the village council elections a few months bak, i know a civilian well who was helping the police that time and he was dressed up in full police uniform and not only dat, he also had revolver on d side, i was surprised to c him ..actually that was the second time i saw him since i’ve seen him before at a police check point with another oficer, an he was well strapped up too..
i don’t know wat dah hell is going on in dis police department but its really fishy and its getting nastier…

1..this fake cop got help from inside caz theres no way that he cud have done it by himself to fool many ppl including his wife..i mean come on ppl..police got numbers n they get paid..etc.
2..he cud be a real cop too but becaz of the abuse that he was causing the young lady and was being reported; for the police dept. that wud be another dirty fish in d pond which keeps things getting worst for them; so they cud have jus made up this fake cop …. jus to have the public think that , Mein u know wat! all dats been happening in d city is not the cops fault and they were taking d blame for it, so its not them its the fake police..do ya’ll understand wat am trying to say..they might be just trying to blind the ppl for this police corruption..

Guys, i know this kido, and he is a waco…. a few times i went down town san ignacio i saw him and talk to him. Most of the time he has bruises on his face and most of his story didn’t make sense. i became a bit concern and did a little checking, and its amazing to know how corrupted the Police department is… Does he really have a daughter and a wife? He didn’t finish school. And yes i think he was aided by police but it had to be one who has a high rank. and when reported for duty someone need to know before you are there!!!! This is no fool, these people know what they are doing and worse we no longer can trust POLICE!!!!!!!!!!! WE NO LONGER SAFE!!!!!!!!!!
What this is no time for quistions. This story is a big distraction. That was a set up open uno eyes and look at it this way right. Right after that boat was found with Mr Minister at the seen, This hapens. Come own pure distraction mek we get back to what was that boat doing there, You thing this is the play. Belizean gone off board now we wa set up anything to loose the focus off we.
I personally believe this came from above, he was aided that is no question. The question that we should be asking is how on earth he managed to take a pay check home every month. What was he really doing to get that money. This can only happen in Hollybelize, the division he was claiming he was with should be checked. The police department need to get better ways to offer Identification cards to their police officers.
We have to realize that every time the police is involved in any crime, the people of Belize just sit and wait for what will be the outcome. Many times there is no outcome. No one is charged and the people just forget about the incident. Wake up Belize! lets stand and pressure the courts or whoever is in charge to open back so many sleeping files and pursue criminals within the department to answer to the victims’ families that are waiting for responses, waiting for justice, waiting for a change in our system. Aaron Wilson was definitely aided in the Police Department.
