Special Olympics camp closes with big bash

Another summer camp ended today, but this one was specially designed for kids with special needs. Forty-seven Special Olympics athletes from all across the country spent the past week at Stella Maris School in Belize City where they trained in several sports disciplines in preparation for upcoming competitions. While the kids were looking forward to this evening’s closing party, none of them were ready for the camp to conclude.

Great stuff for Belize. It is really good to see that they are involving these kids with special needs in something that will build their self esteem and have fun at the same time.

    Big up to the organizers!
