A few leads into hit and run accident
There are also only a few leads for police in the fatal hit and run incident on Monday night. Police are following reports that a white container truck traveled through the area when the incident occurred. Sixty-four year old Francisco Albeño was struck from behind by what witnesses say was a heavy duty truck traveling from the direction of Dangriga to Belmopan. The incident happened between miles thirty-three and thirty-four on the Hummingbird Highway. Albeño was walking towards his home with friends when he was hit and killed. He was buried today in Saint Margaret’s Village where he lived.
Police should ask BNE to information on all trips for that evening.
We NEED SHOULDERS ON THE HIGHWAYS so that people can walk or ride safely along the highway. WALKING OR RIDING FACING THE TRAFFIC SHOULD BE PRACTICED so that at least you can see what’s coming and get out the way.
i agree with BOLD police should inquire at BNE for the trucks that made trips to the south for that day, they must bring some info, since every truck that come there are checked before exiting, with records of oil trips going out of the compund. so BNE should help since on every vehicle that carries oil says”
“how is my driving ? call 823-…. ” so they should know some more of this case. Unless they are so untouchable that no info can be withdrawn from them.
Whats wrong with people? How can u possibly hit someone or something and don’t render aid. How does he/she sleeps at nite.
