Word to News Five this evening is that two prominent Belize City doctors, John Gough and Ervin Gabourel, are getting medical treatment at the Corozal Hospital following an all out brawl at the Belize/Mexico Border earlier today. Police confirmed that Gabourel was changing currency before departing the country when he was approached by Gough who allegedly threatened to beat him. Gough then exited his vehicle and confronted Gabourel and both men got into a tussle. Gough was in the news on Friday of last week when he appeared in Magistrates Court accused of badly beating a sixteen year old high school student who is said to have been dating his daughter. One source claims that the beef between the two doctors was over the apparent distribution of emails about Carlos Zelaya, the teen who was badly beaten in the Buttonwood Bay area. According to Officer Commanding the Corozal Police Formation Superintendent Miguel Guzman, while the offence is considered to be minor both Gough and Gabourel will be charged for disorderly conduct.
Is this man pretending to be crazy so that he can go tot the nuthouse instead of jail for beating up someone’s child?. Never mind, his friend, Mr Nicholas will vouch for him & claim the other doctor pissed him off & St. John was standing there telling them to stop it.. Someone needs to have a serious talk with god Jr. before he kills someone.

I suppose he also denied that he physicaaly harmed a teen a few months ago too, lucky for him the Zelaya boy did not want revenge, won’t be long before he pick on the wrong man.
The fat coward should be ashame of himself, a prominent figure not capable of solving a problem without using his fists, i am have trouble identifying him from the thugs on the streets of belize right now.

What a crying shame! Two professionals acting like dogs of war. I don’t know what happened, but this guy Gough seems to be in the news too frequent, for all the wrong reasons. I am not judging him, I am simply calling a spade a spade.
At least they are educated enough to fight fist to fist…I applaud them for that. They should be ashamed however to need to reach to this level in settling misunderstandings.
Stiff necked fools. That man Gough needs to be taught a lesson. He feels that he can beat up everybody. The supidity of this doctor will make the Institution loose customers because this man is LOCO, LOCO, LOCO. He should be checked up and treated and then sent to CRAZY HOUSE, where probably Doctor Gabrourel can go and treat him also and not get annoyed at Gough when he acts up. Please don’t make this man deal with me if one day I end up in that hospital where he works. Recommend another Doctor please, please.
everyone needs to realize that doctors are normal men with emotions. they caught in a little fist fight. leave them be.
we need to turn our attention to the awful things that are happening in this country instead of having hour long conversations about nothing.

These men are specialists, not just regular doctors. It’s something that is funny in the medical world. you can’t even just call them DOCTOR. so instead of calling them the D word, lets just call them Special.
Dr.Gough is a good person .. also human like anyone of us .people just talk and not know that he has done some good things ..
Dr Gough finally meet someone his size cause he is a CHANCEY MAN! and the news is reporting wrong info cause some of the facts are not right. Dr. Gough is lying just because he got a good thrashing…..
If Dr Gabourel circulated those emails indeed its because he thought that what Dr Gough did was wrong and unfair and that justice would not be served.
Dr. Gough is a crazy man! and Kudos to Dr. Gabourel for beating him up!
