Women busted trying to smuggle weed into prison

There are several measures in place at the Central Prison to deter visitors from introducing illegal items into the prison. But that did not stop twenty-four year old Elisa Chan who was busted with almost three ounces of cannabis when she was searched in the waiting area. Chan was charged late this evening and pleaded not guilty to Drug Trafficking. Magistrate Albert Hoare released her on bail of five thousand dollars and she is due back before the court on September sixteenth. Last Friday, another woman, Lisa Eileen Alvarez, was also busted allegedly trying to smuggle weed into the prison. She too was searched in the waiting area and prison officials found with over six ounces of weed hidden inside food she was bringing to an inmate. Alvarez is also out on bail.

Belizean women are now commiting more crimes than I care to mention here.
Why give these people bail at all, when they deserve jail time instead.
This is what’s wrong with that country, no sacrifices are being made, even in this state of emergency.
Ladies, there is no piece worth jail time or a hefty fine.
they need to send a message to all these people who feel like they can do crimes and get away with it i say send both of them to jail for at least 3yrs come on judges start doing your jobs or maybe we belizeans need to hold a referendom to grade our judges and if you are not performing your job we will get rid of you.

But wait…isn’t Elisa Chan the same person who got off with charges at court for assaulting another woman a few months ago. Now, she was trying to smuggle weed into the prison for an inmate…what is wrong with these women. Some ppl will NEVER learn…she only dig herself deeper in a hole,caz she ain’t working but gwine go try keer weed da jail fi somebody instead of she de out ya di try look fi work….DUMBA$$S
Maybe GOB should impliment a system that if someone get caught smuggling drugs into the prison that they automatically get thrown into a cell at the prison until their trial date comes up.It ashame what these two beautiful loosers have done to themselves.

Belize women use to have a lot of pride, now a man dumb enough to go to jail can have them do stupid things like get a criminal record. Your man is already introuble and you want to keep him a drug addict.

How desperate are Belize women for a man that they will go to prison to keep him happy this is beyond stupid this is desperation at it’s highest. Women no D..k is that good NONE wake up and get some pride. Pleeease put them in the cell with the man so they can be happy obviously that is their life.
I agree Elgin. No bail for drug charges….hopefully then the Zetas will end up in jail too.
BAIL SHOULD BE GIVEN FOR NON-VIOLENT CRIMES. The Zetas would run the jail.

There was always a man shortage in belize, two, three woman for one man and these days with the GUN incorperation,more men are falling dead like flies.
Elisa, If these allegations are true…..I am appalled. You have a beautiful daughter that needs you and loves you…should you be found guilty and sent to prison for this crime….you daughter will be without a mother, so for your daughter’s sake, I hope you are found not guilty of this crime as you have plead.
