Sixth burglar of law office busted

Police say they have the sixth suspected person who broke into the law offices of Godfrey Smith in the wee hours of last Thursday. Today twenty-one year old Kareem Gladden, was charged with Burglary. Gladden now joins five others who appeared in the Magistrate’s Court on Monday to face the same charge. He pleaded not guilty and was offered bail of six thousand dollars. The others charged are twenty-six year old Mark Alamilla, and Fredrick Waight, Jose Caliz, Charles Neal and Michael Fairweather, all twenty-one years of age. Police say that a surveillance camera that belongs to Celebrity Restaurant on the ground floor of the building captured the six youths breaking into the office. Their arrests came after twenty-seven year old Natalie Palacio, the Office Manager at Marine Parade Chambers reported that she arrived at work last Thursday morning and realized that a bathroom window had been removed and an iron safe with a cash pan contained four thousand dollars, three cheque books and other documents were stolen. Police later found the empty cash pan through Munoz Alley, which is not far from where three of the men reside.
None of them had anything to gain from playing with Alamilla & maybe some time in the big house will hammer that home. Why is his bail set so low?. Over the past month we have read stories about people caught stealing food & their bails & fines were set relatively high. I’m having trouble following your logic, where is that good Lemonal common sense?.
Sad to see that these youngmen destroy their futures and are quite happy with the outcome.
