Senior Counsel Rodwell Williams, law partner and close friend of Prime Minister Dean Barrow, returned to Belize on Sunday after more than three months of intensive care at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida. Williams was critically injured in an execution attempt on the night of June first while he was leaving his firm, Barrow and Williams. The fifty-three year old was shot as he walked towards his vehicle in the nearby parking lot. Williams was airlifted to the United States where he underwent a series of delicate surgeries. Williams has made a surprising comeback and when he arrived at the Philip Goldson International Airport over the weekend he was moving around slowly but is expected to make a full recovery. Since the near fatal shooting, there have been two arrests made. Twenty-seven year old Ricky Valencia and eighteen year old Akeem Thurton have been charged with his attempted murder.
I still believe that Ricky Valencia and eighteen year old Akeem Thurton are innocent, but they will be the scape goat in this very special case.
Anyway, there should be a huge fire work session happening in Belize this weekend for Williams return, hosted by the PM and his political crew.
how come we havent heard not one word about this case could it be that this pm is supressing information why would this lawyer be the one to get shot he was targeted maybe a drug deal gone aray maybe bribery wasnt paid no one gets targeted for no reason at all lets hear the real and true story but i can assure you that we will not hear the true story.
It’s good to have Mr. Williams back home. Hopefully, while recovering from his wounds, he has had time to think things through. Do not be surprised to see Mr. Williams branching out on his own. After all, getting shot up, simply due to association, is no fun at all.

Welcome back Rodwell, and hope your recovery continues. Yes like others have said what about his justice? And like the others I’d question these little boys (probably still pissing their beds) motives? If it wasn’t robbery, then were they paid by someone to do this? Then should we be looking for their Mr Big?
