And police say murdered victims were killed execution style

fitzroy yearwood

Police have now clarified that aside from being attacked with machetes, the victims were also shot behind the head. It has also been established that the eight attackers, who were dressed in camouflage clothing and armed with rifles, went to the ranch and assaulted the three victims after midday. Police Press Officer Fitzroy Yearwood says it is believed that the two minors were murdered execution style.

Sgt. Fitzroy Yearwood, Police Press Officer

“Damacio Pop, the survivor of this incident is saying that when they were at the farm—the farm located in Orange Walk not too far from Indian Church Village—they were attacked by eight armed men—men armed with rifles. These men were beating them and asking them about marijuana plantations. He is saying that they took two youths—Wilson Perez and Rudy Interiano and they handcuffed them. He said when he received his injuries, he laid and played dead. This morning a team of police officers, B.D.F. personnel and villagers found these two youths, the bodies of them with apparent gunshot wounds to the back of the head—it would seem to be execution style.”

Marion Ali

“These were very young boys—fifteen and seventeen. What would lead big men to kill them?”

Sgt. Fitzroy Yearwood

“Well according to the survivor, they were all employees at that farm.  And based on what he is saying, they were interrogating them to find out, to establish the whereabouts about some drugs. So we don’t know.”

Marion Ali

“Drugs, as in cocaine?”

Sgt. Fitzroy Yearwood

“Marijuana, he is saying.”

Marion Ali

“Marijuana that’s planted on it?”

Sgt. Fitzroy Yearwood

“Marijuana Plantation. That’s what he was saying.”

Marion Ali

“On that farm?”

Sgt. Fitzroy Yearwood

“He’s saying that that was the line of questioning noh.”

Police have no one detained as yet and are following a few leads.  One of the villagers, who spoke with us off-camera, said that they did not recognize the attackers to be from the village.

Were they addressed in English or Spanish & were their faces covered? Something smells fishy & that anonymous witness information phone number needs to be on the news & in every newspaper after each crime story as a reminder to folks.

Perhaps the killers came from over the border, and once a drug is involved life will be lost.
Police need to comb that entire area, might be surprise of what they might find hidden in those areas.

Once i knew that camouflage clothing was illegal. now i see all kinds of BDF clothing, Police clothing and even the guns that they retrieved from people are being sold to others out there. come on tighten up and enforce the lawas. any man found with camouflage clothing should be charge. PR your officers as they are the ones that sell the weapons out there. i believe that the community needs to take the laws in there hands and start burning down nay person that the y see doing wrong. if you wait for charges to be held no one will make justice.

camouflage clothing should be illegal, all those warm cap should be illegal too since this is the type of clothing the criminals uses

The bottom line is that our current legal system is not effective in deterring or enforcing crimes and those who commit those crimes. We have corrupt law enforcement and political officials to include some in the DPP office that profit from criminal like organizations. Our laws need to be update to fit the crime. And what’s with the repeated offenders being “let off” or escaping from a PRISON? I say something is wrong with the system.
