Club goer gets clubbed over the head

Last week’s robbery of Palm Island netted thieves thousands of dollars. The cash and stolen items were not recovered and no arrests have been made. And over the weekend the robbers struck again, this time they targeted a customer.  According to fifty year old Lance Bernard, at nine-thirty p.m. on Saturday, he left his 2002 Ford Ranger Pickup in the parking lot of the club then went inside to party.  At about one thirty a.m. when he entered the vehicle, he felt a blow at the back of his head. Bernard fell to the ground and his assailant continued to hit him before relieving him of his keys and driving off in the pickup.  The vehicle which is valued at twelve thousand dollars was later recovered on Dolphin Drive in Button Wood Bay.

How could this happen in the parking lot of the club? Weren’t there security guards on duty. It seems a little strange that only his truck was stolen then later abandoned. Sounds like there’s more to that…

Yeah you would think since they had just got robbed the weekend before that they would have some type of security in place, you got to spend money to make money now they will probably lose even more since the patrons might be reluctant to go back there, it is strange that they did not have security there though since I have been there several times and there is was always security there maybe it was a setup and the security called in at the last moment to say he can’t make it and he sent his boys in to take care of business just a thought..

Luckily the animals did not killed or shot the customer for a little bit of cash.
As far as I am concern security guards should start demanding lots of money to do that kind of job, since their lives hang in the balance.

What security guards? you mean those guys at the door who spend the night harrassing females?
