Given a second chance by Kolbe, but former inmate disappoints

Freddy Fuller

A former inmate who served five years inside the Hattieville Prison for armed robbery is tonight once again in lockdown after being for drug trafficking.  Freddy Fuller who was released in July was employed by the Kolbe Foundation as a sports coordinator.  Fuller, who is a resident of Orange Walk, was allowed to stay in a barracks on the compound. Monday night he made the mistake of smuggling eighty-three point three grams of cannabis into the facility and was busted by prison authorities.  He was detained and appeared before Magistrate Albert Hoare this afternoon where he faced a charge of drug trafficking since he intended to supply another inmate with the weed. In court Fuller pleaded guilty to the offence and was fined ten thousand dollars to be paid by December twenty-third.  In default Fuller would face three years in prison; however, a twist of fate caught up with him.  In 2002 he had been fined five hundred dollars for a possession of a pipe which he failed to pay.  As a result of none payment Fuller was ordered to serve the next five months incarcerated.

The animal should rot in jail as far as I am concern.
Never should have given a second chance.

  2. BZNinCALI says:

He missed his friends & that sports coordinator gig was just too stressful for a brother.

Do u think the convicted offenders get rehabilitated now Mr Woods? I am yet to hear of someone that came out that facility n turned their life around. I think the entire prison system needs to be redone. The people locked up seems to b getting off too easy. As Earl Grey is always saying, they need hard labour. Give them va reason not to wanna go back. Jail can’t b that bad, this man was free, had a job n still stayed at the prison in the barracks – WTH??????

  4. Al says:

This is the christian prison that Mr Woods is saying he runs. When will he understand there is no such a thing as a christian prison. Belize men are so easy to be bought for a few pennies, how sad.

Its sad to hear what happend to Mr Fuller i wish him all the best here on, however i believe Mr Woods does more than what he did he have no respect for human being have him take over that prison now leave it a disaster on the inside. What the public see on the outside is just a sham Mr PM remember your promise to take back that Prison rather than that seven year contract.

Rehabilitation in the prison is one thing, but please realize that even if an inmate spends ten years in jail, found God and want to change his life…….temptation is always out there. If he has no job to go to when he is released back into society…….he basically have nothing. Many times struggling families can only put them up for a little time. We need jobs for not only the inmates but for the youths…..that way they can make a little to survive and it keeps them occupied and not looking for trouble in the streets. So many people unemployed, all they need is a chance to make a little money. Kolbe should seek out employment in the banana and orange plantations down south for them to earn an income, and perhaps this will eliminate some of the illegal immigrants in Belize. Give our own Belizean a chance at life…..at survival!!!!

    Tek dat…..they never learn

  8. P'off Belizean says:

Everyman want a quick buck. They don’t want to use their brains, their hands and conscience to make an honest day wage. These guys are shameful, he was given another chance and he throw it back in our faces. Later when life is hard he blames his politician nothing to do with him.

Sadly Belize is full of people like Mr Fuller.

  9. Earl Grey says:

AND …………….He can’t blame no body but HIMSELF.

  10. MADDYVANDIJK/DEREALIST says:

P’off Belizean says, exactly what I have been preaching all along.
    Lazy, lazy, lazy, and corrupt.
