Unconfirmed Report: 2 alleged Scotia Bank robbers dead in Honduras
At least two Belizeans have been killed in Honduras. The two were wanted in connection with the brave March thirtieth armed robbery at the Scotiabank branch in Spanish Lookout and are said to be dead tonight after they were shot and killed in an armed bus robbery. Reports to our newsroom are that Benjamin Peters and Alexander Edwards were at large since the incident. The families are said to be en route to Honduras to identify the two men. Details of the reported armed robbery are still very sketchy, but police believe Peters was part of a group of five men who, on March thirtieth entered the Spanish Lookout branch of Scotiabank and proceeded to rob the bank, killing one of two KBH security guards, Stephen Lopez in the process. Soon after the incident, police had charged seven persons, including a woman, in connection with the incident. Those who have since been charged are: Juan Salazar for abetment to commit robbery, Michael Rodriguez for conspiracy to commit robbery, Frank Edwards for murder, robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, and Austin Monguia, Ervin Fernandez, Lewis Hernandez and Isolina Perez for handling stolen goods. Police had also recovered almost thirty-one thousand dollars of the money that was stolen.
It’s a little bit of justice, Two bad guys down and out forever. RIP.
KARMA IS REAL…………… NO ..ISH
KARMA! Others be warned.
It was only a matter of time before those animals met their fate.
No sympathy from me though, I feel justice has been served.
My thanks go to Honduras.
Believe what their relatives say but verify. Live by the sword, die by the sword. Good riddance.
If its them, I can’t help but feel a little happy. Karma has come through this time. The innocently killed that security they deserved no less than death themselves.
good riddanceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
When will they learn crime does not pay. Sooner or later the gig comes to an end.
Good for those thieves, live by the gun you die by the gun, those guys are from Big Falls Village, Toledo and they were in San Pedro terrorizing the Area and they also went to San Ignacio and tried to do the same thing and manage to escape but they met their match in Honduras, if it is true may their dirty souls rest in peace……..
thought they’ll play the robbery style in honduras but they got what they deserved, i’m happy for what they got but sad at the same time to remember that there’s a kids growing with out knowing his real father but for the blood of his father those to JACK @$$ are dead now.
So their family knew all along where they were. They got an eye for and eye. They carried out an armed robbery and killed an innocent person, and fled. Justice caught up…..
Another one bites the dust, and another one gone. Honduras is big, beautiful and violent. Hondurans will not tolerate the crap we put up with under the guise of “humane.”
Congrats Honduras! Kill them all. If it walks like a rat, smells like a rat, then it is a lowlife rat. Kill them all.
This is the same BS I keep saying, FAMILY MEMBERS KNOW what crimes their kids are doing but encourage them to carry it out, the system needs to HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE TOO. EVERYBODY GOTS TO GO.
The media don’t help in the fight against crime. The heist was labelled as brave, daring etc. A security guard, family man was gunned down in cold blood, and unarmed, innicent civilians had their lives threatened by a bunch of gun toting cowards. has anything been done about the possible assistance from the Police in this? No!
Bunch of theiving cowards, the lot of them, and if they are actually dead, good riddance to bad rubbish! lets hope the rest involved in this cowardly act suffer the same fate.
Now these two joins the security guard in the next life what a beautifull reunion , hope the security guard deals with them!
Yeah ,thier day come to an end.People here in san pedro are happy they feel safe now.It is true that their parents know where they were. They use to tolerate them in their stupidness. So now i hope they feel good with their consequence of them.
They should charge the their parents and siblings for perjury and harboring a fugitive, because they knew all along were those scumbags were, and they probably benefited from all the money they stole from different locations. Now they will know what a lost of a life and a loved one feels like.

I would like for those that still alive say who shoot that guard as he was a close friend to me and also who actually shoot Mr. Neal and why nothing of his shooting mention in the news report. Where is the security tape, show it to their family so that they know not to encourage their children in such acts. Justice serve in Honduras so lets get rid of the rest especially the one that pull the trigger.
I hope they ended up face down in unmarked graves.
ALEXANDER EDWARDS. AKA PINKY ,GABRIEL SALAZAR AKA GABY: RMBR MY COUSIN JOHN PUAL Z. U KILLED HIM JAN,29,09 AT SAN PEDRO… WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND.
Good Riddance…….
i remember growing up knowing those guys like friends, they all useto hangout and sell crack, it started like a joke, bunch of island kids selling weed, making 200$ wekly, then when it all changed was when cocaine drifted the things got cruel, people dying for money$$$$$$$$$, well i know all comes to an end, crash this beef well to be exact, this beef is cooked!!! peace
