Youth for the Future’s computers stolen
The computers were stolen from Youth for the Future, which is situated near the Bel-China Bridge and just about a hundred yards from the couple’s home. Seven Dell brand flat screen computers along with a microwave oven were taken by thieves, who broke into the building sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Matthew. It is believed that the men gained entry through a window on the upper flat of the building and stole the microwave and four computers, then made their way downstairs to the Resource Centre, where they stole the three other computers. The security guard detected the break-in when he reported to work on Sunday morning.
INSIDE JOB?????????????
The animals will try to sell the stolen computers on the streets for cheap; sad part of that is that even though the buyer might suspect that the goods were stolen they will still buy them without making any reports to the police.
The thieves needed them to put in the room with the fans they stole from Wesley Church. We need to prosecute the people who choose to buy stolen goods. Take away the thieves incentive.
Make sure to check the pawn shops seems like they are in the habit of accepting stolen goods. maybe if they ever setup internet access on these computers they can be recovered by using the mac address which is a unique identifier for the network cards and I imagine they also have serial numbers on them.
