Former BNE Exec, Shiela McCaffrey, wanted by cops
A former Director of the Belize Natural Energy Limited is wanted by police for a slew of alleged fraudulent offences. Police say that Sheila McCaffrey was removed from the company on September sixteenth 2008, but two weeks later she allegedly used legitimate company cheques that were still in her possession to pay for purchases, and or services received. The transactions, they claim, were made mostly in Placencia between September thirtieth, 2008 and January first of 2009. Police have a total of twenty one cheques in their possession which McCaffrey used to make payments adding up to over nineteen thousand dollars.
Where is the picture of McCaffrey it can’t be that hard to get a hold of, would be a lot easier to capture her if there was a picture, is someone protecting her?
If this lady is wanted why isn’t her picture on the news?Come on now Belize PD.
Rootsman & Elgin, that was my first thought too. Who is she related to that she does not get her face plastered over the TV like every other criminal? Is she still in the country & why has it taken this long for this to be brought to the public’s attention. Swift(?) stole cheese, the woman from LI stole groceries & got their names & pictures out there & punishment was swift, this woman stole $19,000.00 in three months & we hear nothing for almost two years.
Brings up another question, how much more did she steal before she was fired?
It is time to take everything she owns & throw her @$$ in jail.

Remember she embezzled she did not thief. This is a higher level crime with more sufustication: a “better” crime! When you are poor you only have to be a suspect and your picture is all over the news.
bunch of bs guys. how could she get fired from a company that she owns and started huh???? answer me that… she is suing bne multi millions right now. she’s not the crook at all guys. you’ll see that in a bit… bne stole much more from her and her partners that were “removed” from the company.
Plus, just over a year ago it was on the news that she was wanted for stealing computers from bne (her own company). They did it just to upset her. Nothing did n nothing would ever come out of it.
You mean all this is just dramatization? I would think that if McCaffrey actually started the company she would have majority interest in it and would be like impossible to get her out of it , unless this is another GOB nationalization of a business or attempt to nationalize sounds like there are lots of dirt under the GOB carpet.
If McCaffrey has flee to another country let’s say the US.Will GOB request that she be extradited from the US to face charges in Belize?
