Three men behind bars get more time in court

They’re already behind bars, but tonight three inmates have more trouble coming their way. First is twenty-six year old Knox Cumberbatch who is in jail awaiting trial for charges including murder and will now be charged with Attempted Murder, Grievous Harm and Use of Deadly Means of Harm against Elton Bradley. The new charges go back to May twenty-ninth, 2009 when Bradley was shot several times as he walked on Bishop Street. His assailants rode bicycles and wore stockings over their faces.
Ralph Sherlock Martinez
Thirty-six year old Ralph Sherlock Martinez, whose long list of offences includes being in Possession of an Illegal Firearm and threatening his stepdaughter with a gun, had an additional charge to his list. Martinez is also charged with Attempted Murder for allegedly shooting Julian Castillo on the lower back while he sat in his yard on June thirtieth.

The third inmate that might have an extended stay at the Central Prison is twenty-four year old Lionel Sampson Junior. Sampson was recently in court for the September ninth murder of Jesse Jones who was gunned down in Ontario Village. He is now charged with Robbery in connection with a report by Kadan Bowman, who was held up on Santa Barbara Street on August thirtieth. Bowman says two men rode up to him brandishing a nine millimeter pistol and robbed him of a bicycle, jewelry and a cell phone; a total value of two thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars.
