Sure thing! Should be worded more like, how much political interference with the independence of the judiciary do you believe exists.
YES! I wish people read into this issue a bit more; it is so important. What the PM is doing is an insult to the judiciary, the constitution and the people of Belize.
resign barrow resignnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn you time is near.
stupid …holes……can any of u do any better? and for all of those who are fighting conteh’s cause……have any of u read up about him and who he was before he came here? He was a damn crooked politician in Sierra Leone….. who brought him here? the PUP….whose fighting his cause? PUP lawyers…….Wake up fools.
@sawmill… The whole point is that the PM should not be as involved in the judiciary as he is! It is not a matter of doing better; it’s that he is openly making changes to the judiciary which lean in his favor. CJ gone… Court of Appeal President gone… One year contracts to judges… OH sorry, but his brother has a contract for life. Only UDP judges are being left in powerful judicial positions. Everyone knows this is about Ashcroft. And as far as Conteh goes… Conteh is famous for making rulings against both PUP and UDP, but they will install some crony to take his place. Look at the acting CJ, he’s been appointed even though it is well known that he is incompetent. I believe disciplinary measures are to be taken against him because he has not delivered judgements that are YEARS old. Sawmill… it is YOU who needs to wake up. Look at what Dean is doing to the country.
Its all wrong-people who dwell in their lies always believe it and expect others to believe them– a
business man will always put his business first and thats whats happening—
