Kidney Association has new faces at the top

The Belize Kidney Association has a new president and executive. The organisation held its Annual General Meeting at the Belize Institute of Management on Saturday and elected Andrea Cox as president, Olga Herrera as vice president, Godfrey Sosa as secretary and Ruby Nicholas was elected as Treasurer. Five other officers were also elected to serve in various capacities. The Association was formed in 2004 and has been working to offer assistance for kidney patients in Belize to deal with the rising cost of treatment for their acute and chronic conditions.
