UB student and former Corozal beauty queen charged with Murder

The Corozal ex-beauty queen, who allegedly instigated the killing of her friend because she wanted her baby, had two additional charges levied against her today. Nineteen year old Aracely Cahueque was initially arraigned for Child Stealing and now she is facing Murder and Abetment to Murder charges. Allegations are that Cahueque was the mastermind behind a plan to steal Raylene Dyer’s newborn baby and do away with the mother. She reportedly wanted to pass the child off as her own because she had lied about being pregnant to reconnect with her ex-boyfriend, Leron Gillett. Cahueque is said to have paid twenty-four year old Brandon Budna six hundred dollars on October eighth to kill Dyer and dispose of her body. Budna, along with Jason Anderson and Darren Banner, allegedly beheaded Dyer at a slaughterhouse behind Roaring Creek Village and her body has still not been found. The three month old baby was found in the care of Gillett’s family in Ontario and has been returned to her real father. In court, Cahueque appeared unrepresented and no plea was taken but her next court date was set for November twenty-sixth. Banner, Anderson and Budna, who were all charged with Murder, will also reappear on that date.
Finally! I’m glad the charges have been brought against that evil little girl. I hope she suffers for what she has done!

Justice will be done? I am doubtful of that, the justice system never works in Belize. The ones who deserve to die never dies, the ones deserve to go to jail never go to jail to serve the time. When someone take away another precious life of a mother? What does she deserve to live? I know all the present we talk about is human rights and court system. Sometimes revert it back to the old rules, an eye for an eye, a life for a life. Maybe sometime justice never prevail so that is why lots of street justice will be taking place of its own.
