Shot to the head, Keon Williams Myvett, now dead

Keon Williams

There’s breaking news just into our newsroom tonight. Keon Williams Myvett was shot in the head just before news time on Castle Street. Williams was rushed to the K.H.M.H. and is believed to be dead. We’ll have more on this tomorrow but Williams was recently acquitted of Manslaughter charge in the 2007 of Michael Gladden.

  1. BZNinCALI says:

Until the justice system can be counted on to do its job, street justice will continue to be a substitute. Not a good substitute but the only we have right now.

A shooting death not even conformed, yet made Headlines.
This news is all about shock value , stuff deems to piss one off entirely. I’m sick of the shootings, and the killings in Belize, I am now at a point where I don’t want to see all the killings in the news any more.
Unfortunately, the media there in Belize will continue to spread with enthusiasm reports base on all the negativities in Belize without much regard for the factual accuracy or social relevance.
Belize need better politicians, leaders, and journalists that actually want to establish a constructive, or efficacious change for Belize.

You are right BZNinCALI in the states the saying is usually let the justice system take cares of it is not perfect but it works, I guess in Belize it would be the opposite of that something like let the street justice takes care of it neither is it perfect but it seems like the only system that works against these criminals since the justice system in Belize is neither perfect and it sure does not seems to work, until it is fixed so it will be.

  5. Justice says:

Justice was served nevertheless. Like BZNinCALI says not a good substitute but the only one we have right now. Thse who have no regard for human life and live by the gun should be taken out of society somehow.

  6. JET says:

Justice most prevail, doesn’t really matters if its the Justice System of Street Justice!! When one fails the other substitutes!!! LIFE GOES ON!!!

  7. Sam Browne says:

Just to gently remind everyone that a 4 year old girl died due to “street justice” the criminals who meted out the “Justice” fired upon the house where the little girls uncle was thought to be inside. Well you all know the rest of that story. Nuff Sed
