High School Principal detained for allegedly assaulting co-worker
There is a report to News Five that Denroy Tillett, the principal of Belmopan Comprehensive School, was taken into custody this afternoon. Belmopan Police have confirmed that Tillett was detained for allegedly sexually assaulting a female teacher, but they would not release any further information on the incident and it is not certain if he will be formally charged. We were referred to the Police Press Officer, Sergeant Fitzroy Yearwood, but he has not been taking calls.
She said, he said, we need more information.
Well as I heard principal of high school, my mind went on this individual. He is a drunkard and is very disrespectful when under the influence. In my mind, he is not fit for the post he occupies and hopefully with this incident he is replaced with someone that has a vision and a good reputation.
I knew with time this would come out! Denroy is a drunkard and when he drinks he gets out of control! I hope he goes to jail!!!!

As BZNinCALI stated….this sound nothing more than a she seh, he seh story….the news have different info….how do we even know dat the story told was right or if it was jus another bzean trying to shoot another bzean in the leg because of envy….bzean jus no like see other bzean mek head way and the way how some bzean act they would do anything and wait for any and take every opportunity to tarnish the reputation of a good respectable member of society…I know Mr. Tillett personally and he has never disrespected me nor any other female friends or acquaintance of ours…wat i know of him is dat he is always trying to see how he can help out a falling bro or sis….a characteristic of him that some who i know have taken advantage of…yet i say Mr. Tilllett is RESPECTABLE and a good teacher/principal
i dont believe in sentencing before a trial. lets hear the truth first before we even think about convicting. in belize gossip is king, sadly.
I just graduated from compre this June, and Mr. Tillett never harassed anyone on campus, and this story is certainly slanderous. He is an objective leader, that focuses on the task at hand. He did not harass students, nor staff or anyone else on campus. If the UDP does not like him, they should have the balls to say it to his face, and tell him to resign. I have only known him for a year, but he has not done anything of that sort ever.

He had been my home room teacher for a year and I can tell you that he is a very ignorant impatient man…
he has never disrespected any1 in any manner while i was at that sch…u jus have sum ppl dat want to have their own way n cyant do dat…i believe that they jus want to get rid of him bcaz he was firm with his rules and stuff n had evrything son d rigt way…ppl jus cyant standd to c ppl do gud meinz
