Bail offered to men charged with preparing to commit murder

Floyd Davis

It was a huge bust back in August when four men were intercepted in a Crown Victoria vehicle belonging to taxi driver, Floyd Davis of Mile Eight Western Highway. When the vehicle was checked at the Ladyville gas station where it was intercepted, police found firearm and ammunition, military uniforms, masks and other accessories.

It was concluded that the men were preparing to commit a crime, presumably a murder. At the time the men, Tevin Abraham, of Plues Street; Jareth Usher, of Vista Del Mar, Ladyville, Jamal Tablada, of Belama Phase Two and Davis were arraigned in court on charges of Preparation to Commit the Crime of Murder but were denied bail.

Today they re-appeared in court having served the mandatory ninety days before they can apply for bail. Court prosecutor Egbert Castillo told Senior Magistrate, Sharon Frazer that they were not objecting to bail and after noting the gravity of the offenses, the Magistrate granted bail in the sum of ten thousand dollars each.

Is there evidence that they were about to commit murder or is this just some vague suspicion that will help the prosecutor to lose this case when it goes to court, if there is evidence that they were about to commit murder I hope that the intended victim has been informed that they were coming to kill him/her.

How did the police come to the conclusion that these boys were about to commit murder. The items found could have also suggest armed robbery or some other crime, the only things these boys are guilty of is what was found in the car the only evidence the police have of anything.

actually we’re getting use to these types of cases where the criminals walk free afterwards but later street justice take it’s turn.
