Judgment Day around the corner says believer
Our previous story was about an open day. But this one is about judgment day. Because the Maya calendar runs out in 2012, some claimed the world will come to an end. But according to one religious group, we won’t need to wait two years because it will happen a lot sooner. Robin Harp and his companions have been touring the world for two years spreading the message of repentance. Harp, who maintains he is sane, stopped by our studios this morning and said that judgment day is only six months away.

Maybe after 05/21/2011, they will then revert to the Maya calendar, until that time runs out too. People have been predicting the end of time forever as though they have some special connection with their God. When the date come they either try to do something dramatic like I already mentioned or they simply go quietly from where once they came. This man likened himself to Jesus Christ by saying when he brought the gospel he was rejected and secondly insulted the other religions by saying he is bringing the true gospel. So what have I been listening before then?
What is interesting is the date of their proclamation which is the anniversary of the suicide of the cult leader Jimmy Jones and his followers in Jonestown Guyana on 18th November 1978. If Belize authorities don’t pay attention we may well see a similar event in Belize for the first time.
Still, if the day is uneventful or if the day turns out to be doom’s day for Mr Harp and his faithful followers it will someone become political and Mr Barrow it will be your fault. Such is the ability of the Belizean people to turn each and every aspect of their lives RED or BLUE.

Hey Robin my Maya father in law says the round calendar the Maya use has no END!!! You better not go any farther you will fall off the edge of the world. The event that happens in 2012 is a celebration that the Maya who were renown for their mathematical skills know only happens once every 26000 years. I am glad to be here in Belize where we can really appreciate that day!

Surely, It is written, none knows the day/ hour when it will come, Not even the Prophets of old claimed to have such knowledge. True, believers have no knowledege of the hour, which could be any second, minute,hour, day, week month or year. They firmly believe that sooner or later it will come. I am not sure where this indiviual is getting his information from….. it is writen that indiviuals such as this individual will show up claiming to have knowledge of the unknown/unseen.
I think these guy is dreaming because according to the bible not even the angels in heaven knows when the Lord Jesus Christ is coming. So if this guys has a date damn! he is lacking some kind of vitamins. I’m sure Mr Harp and his people are sincere, but if you check history there have always been groups predicting the worlds destruction. No one knows anything about such predicted calamities. 2021 I plan to get married. I am confident that the world will be here. Maybe we would have
witnessed many shift in paradigm, natural disasters, different phenomenon, scientific
breakthrough, we might just as well be going to the moon for an overnight party or to get
married. The truth is that history have shown that at different times many changes occur but not

The bible Tells us no one not even the angels know when the coming of God will be only the Father knows. It also warns against decivers of the truth.
If you believe in the Bible it is specific on two points: 1) No man knows the time of his return; 2) In the last days there will be false prophets. So if he knows his Bible as he professes he would be feeding the hungry, praying for the sick and injured, visiting those in prison… Be a good person and leave the rest up to God.

Sorry to burst your bubble Mr. Harp but the world is not coming to an end on May 21 2011 or 2012 or the year after. I heard a lot of uninformed people preaching the same retoric. This is nothing but a scare tactic. Similer nonsense was being said in 1999 about the year 2000. I know of a lot of people who had stocked up on food for months. Some maxed out their credit cards believing they wouldn’t have to pay it back becasue they thought the world was coming to an end. When Janurary 2000 came, a lot of these same people find them self in a lot of debt. YOU BETTA BELIZE IT! DON’T BELIZE THE HYPE!!!
