Ibrahim Smith charged with manslaughter of High School friend

Sadie Vernon High School is still mourning the loss of one of its students, seventeen year old Shenelle Reyes. The fourth form student died from a single bullet to the head; the shot was fired by a friend who was allegedly playing with a sawed-off shotgun. Friends and family believe it was an accident and Reyes’ friend eighteen year old Ibrahim Smith was charged with Manslaughter. Smith, a regular visitor at Reyes’ house, was said to be playing with the gun and pointed it at her. The weapon went off, Reyes was shot to the head at close range and died within minutes in the living room of her house. Smith fled and hid the weapon in the yard, but it was recovered by police.
I am a Belizeans, I love my country but at the same time embarrass of what peaceful has turn to.
Shouldn’t there be an illegal weapon charge in here too?
While I do believe that the young man is sorry!!! I don’t think it’s an accident because let’s be real!!!! I have a gun and I know what it does!!!! kill anything that it is pointed at!!! That’s why I don’t play around with it?? He knew what that saw-off gun could do but he still choose to point it at someone!!! and therefore if anything I believe that the only justice that would equall is the girl’s family getting the chance to point it the gun at him and see’s what happen’s???

Should be charged for murder, keeping unlicenced/prohibited firearm and pellets. Hope them no go seh he crazy and that’s why he could not think that he was doing wrong.

SEND HIM TO THE PRISON FARM TOO………………………………. build one down in TOLEDO!!!
He should get AT LEAST 5 YEARS AT THE PRISON FARM.
HE COULD LEARN TO EARN HIS KEEP AND PROVIDE for the rest of SOCIETY.
HE COULD BE A PRODUCTIVE CITIZEN by the time he is set free. BUILD A PRISON FARM, NOW!!

im so sorry to here wat happy to girls her mom is my friend it a shame wat is happyin in our country i luv belize but all this crime have to stop it feel so bad when i here all the time tht somebody get kill in bze it not the guns tht are killin people it the one tht is holdin the gun cause can’t shoot it self how can u kill some one an sleep at nite noin ur a kill or murder how would u feel if sum one did tht to ur family ha i no u well not like it rite this goes to all off u tht are kill u need to stop kill ur people we all are one family remmber tht ok
