Body of footballer found
In the south, it is not known what led to the death of a young Dangriga sportsman who went missing last week Thursday. The body of twenty-one year old Thomas Swaso, who lived at the New Site Area of Dangriga Town, was retrieved from the banks of the Stann Creek River. His mother, Norene Sacasa, said he left home on November eighteenth at eight p.m. with the intention of going to Y-Not Island with some friends. The football aficionado, a member of the Under-twenty-one National Team, never returned and on the twentieth, his mother reported him as missing. Swaso’s body was found at the branch mouth of the river at one-thirty p.m. on Sunday. The decomposing body was immediately transported to the Southern Regional Hospital where a doctor concluded that there were no signs of external injuries. However, there were superficial lacerations on the face. Family members say that the post mortem examination will be carried out at the KHMH and they are not sure if foul play is involved. James Adderley will have more on this death coming up on Sports Monday.
RIP, I can only hope this was an accident, I am so tired of the bloodshed & mayhem.
