Reckless’s new CD is a ‘Different Thing’

If you’re into Punta music, you know the name “Reckless” and you know his music. His real name is Felix Flores and he’s a veteran in the music business, going all the way back to his days as lead singer in the Punta Rebels band. Well, Reckless has a new album in stores; released first in Dangriga and now he’s bringing it to the Belize City residents. He says the CD, entitled “Different Thing”, is unlike anything he’s released before but he maintained that Punta beat that will have you working up a sweat. Reckless came by our studios today to promote the album, which he says is already a hit in the south.

“Hype, I noh change a bit, maybe couple a years from now I change but right now I stay pan what I di do. I believe inna what I di do and I believe ih wah work fi everybody so I keep pan dah same track.”

The reason I do di song dah fi draw awareness fi di man mek be conscious and tek care a dehn responsibility. Dah noh actually I di pick pan certain… you know but things like Maintenance dah one ah di track weh people respond wah lot to. Mek di man tek care ah ih responsibility and get di woman dehn fi tighten up too you know.”

The CD is available at your regular music outlets. It’s one of the first CD’s to be released for this year’s Christmas season.
