Caught in Belize; American Fugitive back on U.S. soil

The American fugitive who was hiding out in Belize during his birthday was sent back on Wednesday. After being told he might spend twenty-five years behind bars for manslaughter back in 2008 in Boca Rotan, Florida, he tore off his ankle monitor and hid out in the Jewel. An ABC affiliate WPBF caught up with the captured fugitive, James Donald Baker, as he landed at Miami International Airport. Here’s that report.

Yeah, because he probably heard Belize is a haven for criminals. As usual our borders are wide open and so anyone can come in. Don’t forget we still have a number of children who were murdered and no one brought to justice. Yet we have all sorts of people coming in. People come to the country with their cultures, practices and beliefs which is unlike ours. Example the West Africans sacrifice children. In Britain there was a case of a young boy’s body in the river Thames, and it is believed that he was sacrificed in a ritual for prosperity. Similarly if we let people in from Somalia, Sudan, Nigeria primarily muslim countries the girls are circumcised, a practice which is despicable and unacceptable every where including Belize.
We in Belize have our own home grown criminals we really don’t need to import anymore as our police men and women are barely coping. As I will continually say Please CLOSE OUR BORDERS. I am definitely not against immigrants but we should only welcome those from anywhere on the planet who will work with us to build Belize.

So Belize is the birthday spot for all these American fugities.Tourisim must be doing good in the Jewel.
Plenty of these fugitives hiding in Corozal. Just look for old men with pony tails and beards at chinese bars at the Art in the Park.
Well if what Police man said above is correct, then there is usually a reward for turning in people like this. Good way to get a payday other than turning to crime. Let’s run these people out of our jewel and make other like them know that this is not the perfect hideout. This will be my new line of business so look out criminals, vigilante justice 316 will blow the whistle!
Perhaps the word is out that our little Jewel is the place for crooks to hide out!
Well actually, accordign to my sources. Belize is second. There is a place called Rio Dulce, Guatemala i think at the south of Belize near Honduras. It is a place for yachts and a good hideout. Belize is second. Rio Dulce is the spot.
Has anyone noticed the manner in which the states deals with criminal matters? Every foreigner that has been captured here in Belize and taken into US custody is given yeasr and years in prison. They are NOT AFRAID or WASTE NO TIME in putting them in the dump! As Belizeans we try so hard to copy cat all the states things. Food, clothes..etc.. well lets follow the judicial system style aswell. NO MERCY ON THESE SCUM BAGS running around killing ppl!
Well This is because it takes nothing much to enter our country. Its hard to get a visa to come to the US and when you do get a visa you still not guaranteed entry into the US you have to go through more interigation but these American fugitive can come freely because all they need is a passport and couple In God We Trust (US dollars) When our country stop being desperate for US dollars and start doing their jobs at the border then this problem will stop
