Missing: 79 year old Alfred Conorquie

The family of a seventy-nine year old man is worried about his safety tonight and is asking the public’s help to locate Alfred Conorquie. He left home on Friday afternoon to pick up his pension at the bank and while that’s routine, the elderly man has not returned. Whether he was targeted for his money or otherwise, the family fears that Alfred might have been harmed. His son, Dion Conorquie, told News Five today that after an operation two years ago, his experiences sporadic memory lapses but he could always find his way home. They are asking anyone who might know Alfred’s whereabouts to contact the family or the police.

“He left home about Friday about one o’clock, after one so. Mi nephew Byron, he dropped him off to bank so that he can pick up his little social and from then we never see him again and I don’t know where he is or what he is doing right now. But all we want is that he come back home to us and different things like that. The family is concerned about him and we need him back in our lives.”

“Has he ever done this? Not return home?”

“No, he never usually do something like this. He maybe sometimes when he go and collect his pension from Social, he would maybe keep out all day and you would see him at night. I don’t know if he go and see his little girlfriend or whatever but he usually come back.”

“Is the family worried now that something might have happened?”

“Yes, we’re thinking that something could have happened. I’m trying not to think about anything bad bout somebody have him locked up and just having a fine time until the money is done. That is what I’m thinking about but as time goes by slim chance of doubts are coming into our minds. So I don’t know and I just want to say if anybody know him, Alfred Conorquie, my dad, the can either call us or come over or go to the police station, hand him over and I’ll be glad mein.  He’s short like me and he have white hair, white mustache. The last clothes he left home with was a dark blue shirt and a brown khaki pants. So if anybody see him just come back and give us a call or whatever. I’ll be glad.”
