Aggravated Assault charge in the Cop versus Cop case

It’s cop versus cop. A police officer was charged criminally this morning in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court after a Special Constable claimed that he beat her up and left her unconscious at her home. Briceño Shal, who is attached to the Patrol Branch, is facing a single count for wounding his ex-common-law-wife, Nakisha Usher, who is also attached to Patrol Branch. The alleged domestic dispute occurred last week Friday, December third, at Usher’s West Street home but was not reported until the following day. Usher reported that Shal visited her and demanded that she return a pair of black shoes that he had gifted her. Usher claims she did but that he came back to her house and they got into an argument. She also alleges that he punched her in the stomach and the left eye and injured her nose and that she fell unconscious. This morning when Shal appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court, he was unrepresented and pleaded not guilty. He met bail and will be back in court February tenth, 2011.
Get him out the force he don’t belong there.
Obviously he has nothing to fear. Look at the stupid smile on his face. How many more black eyes will this Police Department get before they are allowed to fire these fools?
What a shame and disgrace
and the have the guts to give this idiot bail after his assault, they got to be kidding, bet if it was a local civilian he might have been locked up until febraury 2011 to show up in court. but anyway they are cops so what make them kill themselves since they can do anything and they are free.
what poor example the police department is setting, such seezy actions and disrespect for each other, which is passed down to the general public, it makes you think that this action is commonplace both up and down the chain of command.
