Ministry of National Security vehicle in collision on Western Highway
An accident occurred on the Western Highway this afternoon between twelve-thirty and one p.m. Two vehicles were coming from the direction of Belmopan to Belize City when the incident occurred. According to persons at the scene, a dark SUV driven by one Mister Gillett was approaching to turn into Faber’s Road. The owner of the vehicle driven by Gillett said that he was told that Gillett put on his indicator light and slowed down and when he began to turn, a vehicle that belongs to the Ministry of National Security slammed into the right side of his vehicle. 
Gillett received minor injuries and was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. The government vehicle then careened down the road and finally came to a full stop in a deep and wide drain. The driver of the National Security vehicle says that he didn’t see how the accident happened because it occurred so fast. Police press officer Fitzroy Yearwood did not return calls for details as to whom the vehicle was assigned to in the Ministry of National Security. Apparently, Yearwood fears suffering the wrath of Prime Minister Dean Barrow for to talking to Channel Five about a minor traffic mishap.
Channel 5, I hope you are not editorializing that thing about Yearwood being unwilling to talk to you because of the Govt’s ban on Channel 5. However, knowing how Dean-O operates, it is not too farfetched. I figured this might not be as simple as “ministers won’t talk to channel5.” I initially thought people were making too much of a fuss about this, as Channel5 could still conduct itself as a great news station without ministers giving interviews. But, if it is the Prime Minister’s objective to blacklist Channel5 and intimidate people from talking to you, then we seriously have a problem. As has been said before, you and 7 are the only two national news stations, and if the Prime Minister wants that the GOB is only to be portrayed in a light that suits him, then we are inching closer those repressive societies that everyone has been mentioning. Keep strong. We support YOU.
maybe this person was handling drugs for the department of national security and so this story wont make it out another reason why they are trying to silence channel 5 so that they can continue with thier plunders unabated.
Well like they say silent gives consent, meaning that if you refuse to talk you are believed to be guilty or concealing something, so from here on we will have to assume that the GOB is guilty on all counts by default.
Now back to these two vehicles did the police ran a sobriety test on the driver of this government vehicle? If he is a driver whose responsibility when driving is to pay due care and attention and he did not see or know how he ended up in the side of this other vehicle then he is guilty as charged it’s a pity that the vehicle was not his own.
disgracefully perdomo was not their how glad would alot of people be if he died there but the cat has 7 lives so lets keep counting for the next time. let the driver of the national security pay in full and charge him fully for driving like a maniac.
