Christian night club, Club Haven opens in Belize City
If you are a regular patron of nightclubs then you know exactly what French Kiss is referring to. And you know that the music and lyrics at those clubs tend to be sexually explicit and extremely violent in content. So if you like dancing but find that the club scene is not for you, there is an alternative. A Christian night club called Club Haven is opening up in Belize City. According to DJ Motivation, the music will still be hype but the content and message will be spiritually uplifting.

“This club that we are starting up is basically part two of a Christian Club in Ladyville. The one in Ladyville was called the Millenium. What we are doing is we are bringing it back and it is called the Haven and this club is going to be located in Belize City. It is easily accessed by different districts. It is easier to come to the City than to go to Ladyville.”

“The reason being, is that the youths, both Christian and non Christian youths, they struggle in their communities with things to do. Sometime they don’t have nothing to do on Friday nights, Saturday nights and to stay out of trouble, one of the best things to do is to go to a place where they can have positive recreation and good positive music.”

“We’re living in an age where the video games, the music that attract teens are all violent and sinful. It’s attractive itself in the media. Do you think your club will be able to gain some membership?”

“By far yes. The reason being is that this club is starting as a club, disco music, dj music, probably live bands, live performances, international audiences and all of that. But on top of that it will get bigger and it will move from different locations and it will have its own recreation center. Whenever you are not in the disco part, you can either be in the gym or the lounge area either playing video games—probably won’t be the violent ones—might be E for everybody. And things like that you know.”

“I truly believe yes because hence the name the Haven. The meaning of the Haven is actually a safe house or a safe place. A lot of people can look it up and see a safe house for boats. Well we as Christians we have to be fishers of men so we have to go out in some kind of vehicles and we go out in boats so, the Haven.”

I wish you well but I am not sure that Christian music is compatible with the club scene. Have you seen the way these kids dance with each other? Will they grind on each other & ask God for forgiveness?
It’s a great idea. I hope it succeeds. Everyone needs access to entertainment without the vice and crime of other places.

Finally something positive hit the news beside violence. The club is a good idea, somewhere we can go and not hear violence, sex, drugs etc. Nayo, we see where u are aiming at and guess what u are on the correct wide road. However, the narrow road if u want comfort and the best treatment went u leave this world is what you should aim at. But, I can’t judge just spreading the word as the good book says. I will pray the club is a success. Imagine, a country where the most popular place to be is a place that God’s approve of.

I believe this is a really good investment and i pray for God protection upon a place like this and that youths will be save and Nayo i guess your type of thinking will cost you your life be-careful of what you say. oh and you wanting to run for politics will be the worse ever. it will be a crew up with Nayo in Polictics
Belize needs more places like this where young people can hang out, enjoy themselves and be in a safe envorinment. Hope this is successful!

Positive idea…wish you much sucess! Make sure you post a rules of conduct list and have eyes on the look out to make sure things stay on the straight and narrow, because wherever sheep gather the wolves are sure to come!
Oh…make sure you add karaoke machine when you expand because one thing Christians like to do is sing!
