U.S. national found dead in Sittee

Police are investigating yet another death and the victim is a US national who lived in the Stann Creek District. Police say that the body of fifty-six year old Miriam Shimi was discovered around nine this morning inside her bedroom in Sittee River Village. From what we know, Shimi’s death is being treated as a murder and a post mortem is scheduled for Tuesday, which will determine the cause of death. According to one of her employees, he shouted for her as he does every morning, but when she didn’t answer he sought the help of a neighbor. Shimi was then found dead.

Murder is murder as far as I am concerned over this matter, I hope the psycho is caught before another woman falls victim to his monster.

  2. Proud Belizean says:

I hope the US Embassy brings in experts to help solve the mistery.

  3. Ava Kely says:

Just a correction. She is Miriam Simi, not Shimi.
And I hope this monster is found and as an example to the rest, he should be HANGED

  4. Pascal says:

Myriam was a beautiful, wonderful woman I knew for the majority of my life. She will be greatly missed! Catching this monster will do nothing to alleviate the pain we feel, but it will hopefully spare others from losing their loved ones the way we did.
