Electronic gifts are number one this Xmas Season

There is only one more shopping day left before Christmas and if you haven’t yet bought that gift, then we found out what are the hottest items for the season. It’s not perfumes or jewelry; News Five’s Jose Sanchez hit the stores and found out that electronics are in vogue.

The digital age has become an integral part of the Christmas holiday. Electronic devices have become the number one category in gift giving. Venus Photos and Records have moved into the digital market.

“We also carry mp3; this is the new thing this year. Actually it’s not longer mp3, mp3 has advanced to mp4 and now we have mp5. We have referred to this as an mp4 still. It comes with camera and lots of other features, you can pick up the radio stations, you can actually do recordings on it like a voice recorder and you can take pictures and record videos on this. It has a little video recorder. So it’s very advanced.”

That’s just the pixels—the more pixels it has the better the quality of the image. Price range: we have good deals on them available. We have from about thirteen-fifty up on Toshiba and different brands as well. We have really good deal on a forty inch Viore. Viore is a company from Germany. It’s actually this TV right here and we have it available for eighteen-fifty. That’s the last piece we have left. We also offer a warranty on our LCD’s. “These things are very expensive. In my humble opinion, I think they are expensive, but for some reason, the kids love these games. My son, who really loves these games, says that the graphics are top of the line; number one. I don’t know exactly what he means by that, but that’s the explanation he gives to me—kids love them. And they are going like hot Creole bread, serious thing. These things are selling fast.”

“And what about the systems they are played on? I know you have the war and the wrestling and the war and the FIFA, but the game systems themselves—the consoles?”

“Well people will buy one console and you will see them buy one game, and then the next week they come buy another game and stuff. Consoles are very expensive too. These things are expensive. These are games that you will use for one year, two years, and three years. Not something you will use for a week or two and get rid of it. These kids will use these things.”
