Wababa Noralez and Roger Bowen fingered for robbery in Ladyville

Two men, who robbed the driver of a Coca Cola delivery truck and the owner of a Ladyville business, spent the holidays at the Queen Street lock-up. The duo, Wababa Noralez, of Caesar Ridge Road and Roger Bowen of Kraal Road, appeared before Chief Magistrate, Margaret Gabb McKenzie this morning. They were charged with robbing Walter Sosa, the Bowen and Bowen employee of two thousand two hundred dollars in US currency as well Chinese businessman, Jian Toa Ting, of Ebey Store in Ladyville. Both are also facing charges of conspiracy to commit robbery and Wababa was additionally charged for possession of controlled drugs.

Before leaving the court, Bowen complained that he had been badly beaten by the cops even though he told them he has a hernia. For the record the Chief Magistrate took note of Bowen’s allegations. Jian Toa Ting told the police that on Christmas Eve morning he was making payments to Sosa when a person entered the store, went to the back and seconds later, emerged with a handgun that he pointed on Sosa, demanding his money. After the gunman seized Sosa’s cash, he turned to Ting and hit him several times with the handgun before taking his money. According to Ting, a second robber entered the store and ordered Sosa to lie down on the ground. The two then made off in a vehicle that was driving by. The owner of that vehicle, who was heading to Belize City, has been released without charges.
Poor baby Bowen, show us your boo boo & we will slap the bad policeman on his hand or do you want us to whip him with that night stick. We do want to thank you for not shooting the driver & shopkeeper, he imagined that he was hit too. Now seriously, try complaining to someone who gives a tish,
I’m glad these guys got caught & I hope we can convict them but who really believes their getaway driver was just a witless sap who got duped. I would like to know why he was not charged.

although each and every minister have a gang member or two at there side there will never the distruction of them. We all know that in belize the lawyers are getting rich because of crime,when there is murder the lawyers should not take the cases, the prosucutors shoul be better trained so if ther is no withness they she should still have the cases go on or keep the defendant in the system until he take a plea. As for being in jail in Belize, that is a joke,bringing food to prisoners,should stop,cut the budget,feed them two times a day, when they go prison they always come out bigger, have a system so they can only be have visitors once a month,no more model prisoners so the can see who they want to see, give the warden a little more pay so they dont have to take bribes, my system would be you kill and found guilty, you go to a special place???????
