3 men busted for gun that owner left under vehicle seat

Brandon Leslie

Three men were charged today for a nine millimeter pistol found in an SUV that they were travelling in. But twenty-two year old Brandon Leslie, who was driving when they were pulled over, says he didn’t know the weapon was in the vehicle nor did his friends, twenty-two year old Phillip Smith and nineteen year old Justin Roches.

Philip Smith

They all pleaded not guilty to Keeping an Unlicensed Firearm and Keeping Unlicensed Ammunition because the gun was loaded with twelve rounds. The trio’s attorney, Dickie Bradley, asked for time to allow the prosecutor to look into the matter because the gun is reportedly licensed to a relative of Leslie, who left it in the SUV.

Justin Roches

According to Bradley, Dennis Leslie has called the police station to inform them that the gun is his and he has provided his license as proof. But the matter was adjourned and the accused trio was remanded to prison until January twenty-fourth. The bust occurred last Thursday on North Front Street where police pulled over and searched the Chevy SUV. The pistol was found under the driver’s seat and when they could not produce a license, all three men were arrested.

There goes that new law in action everybody goes to jail until someone fest up, next time when you borrow a vehicle ask if there are any weapons or drugs in it and make sure you are licensed to drive also.

This is the case Richard Dickie Bradley was waiting for…. as much as I dislike Bradley’s usual willingness to help “the usual suspects” I believe this time around he is going to do some good. Hope this goes all the way to the supreme court to challenge that stupid new law

These idiots were about to commit a crime/murder when they were busted. “THE GUN LAW” need to exercise restraint and ordered these idiots to be pistol whipped in public before thrown into a bottomless jail.
A !@#$% slap for Dickie who is now trying to pass the criminals off as decent citizens who won’t try to stab you in the back in a dark alley, or do a drive-by just because they can get away with murder. Dickie is an opportunistic, greasy-head who figured out a way to survive the Holocaust in Belize, he don’t give a darn about the murder rate in Belize. No pun intended.

Real exposure of a stupid law, and a police department that does not have enough sense to get out of the rain.Since the owner of the vihicle have called and told the police that the gun is his and he forgot it in the vehicle that is his, and that the gun is license to him, which I believe the police verify to be so, why in the name of god’s green earth are these men in jail for the so call offense?

  5. BZNinCALI says:

The law worked like it was supposed to, someone did come forward to claim the gun. It was not in his possession when it was found & in a place where all criminals keep their guns until they are ready to use it…under the seat. These young men may not have been out to commit crimes but responsible gun owners have to make sure their piece is in their possession at all times.
