Honduran national pleads guilty to 2 counts of robbery
Twenty-seven year old Honduran National, Cesar Geomar Castro Romero, has been living in Belize illegally for over three years and now he gets to spend an extra five years in the Jewel… but at the Central Prison. And it’s not because of immigration offences; today he pleaded guilty to two counts of Robbery. On November twenty-fourth, 2010 Castro approached two students, eighteen year old Jiannie Moguel and twenty-four year Eglea Villanueva, on Princess Margaret Drive. According to Villanueva, he grabbed her by the hair, held a knife to her throat and demanded that they both hand over their belongings. Castro made off with school supplies, assorted jewelry and two cell phones but didn’t get far because a police mobile intercepted him on A-Street. He was caught with the stolen items and the knife that that was used to commit the crime. At his arraignment the following day, Castro pleaded not guilty but changed his plea today. In mitigation he explained that he acted out of desperation because his wife is gravely ill and in need of medication. With that in mind and because he is a first time offender, a non-custodial was considered for Castro. But after it was confirmed that he is an illegal immigrant and a flight risk, he was sentenced to five years in prison for each count, to run concurrently. The sentence is retroactive to November twenty-fifth, 2010 when he was first charged.
His desperation just might get his @$$ kill in prison.
Illegal and committing crimes, in any situation this case should be treated like double murder.
Don’t kill the bastard; just make him wish he was dead.
One more for……….THE PRISON FARM.
THERE HE CAN EARN HIS KEEP AND REPAY HIS DEBT TO SOCIETY…………..no cost to taxpayers.
BUILD A PRISON FARM IN TOLEDO………. It’s a WIN-WIN situation.
Now who is going to steal to keep his ailing wife alive? If she is also in the country illegally, maybe she needs to return to her family so that she can spend her final days with them.
