Who will be the next Chief Justice?
Thirteen applied to fill the post of Chief Justice, but that has been narrowed down to three applicants, two who have been interviewed. Justices Colin Henry of New Zealand and Kenneth Benjamin of St. Lucia were both interviewed for about an hour each early this week in the Chief Justice’s chambers. Both have since departed Belize. The third applicant will fly in for interviews later this month. Just last week, the prime Minister said that the new CJ should assume office in time for the September session of the Supreme Court.
why are we looking to foriegners for this position could it be this pm is looking for another lacky for his gv. to do with as he pleases we have well qualified people in belize to fill this position one that comes to mind right off the bat to me is lisa shoman she would be excellent for this position has more brains than all the people brought in here from outside put together o but i forgot she is not a lacky she speaks her own mind and heart something barrow doesnt want he wants people who will suck up to whatever he wants so that the corruption can continue as usual well i for one nominate lisa shoman for the job .

Why? why would you guys go out of the country to look for a CJ. What is wrong with the Belizeans? Didn’t they apply for the position? I bet they did! Just like how they brought in the fake African doctors, nurses and the rest of the outsiders with their fake documents. The Belizean government know these things but they don’t care.
