What’s Happening in Belize with Arielle

We promised you that What’s Happening Belize would be back this Friday … and it is with our new entertainment girl, Arielle, holding over for Safiyyah. She’s got the stats on your favourite party spots in the city, but there’s also plenty happening out west this weekend, including the first bash of the year at Galen University. Here’s your new host, Arielle.

And this is “What’s happening Belize!”

I know some of you may be wondering where your girl Safiyyah is, well right now she’s relaxing and enjoying an overdue vacation. I’ll be taking over the spot for now, keeping you up to date with current events and weekend activities!

First on the agenda is the “GROWN AND SEXY” on Saturday the 22^nd. Featuring mad squad sounds, and stereo one sounds alongside selecta Jamrock! There will be free drinks from 11 to 12. And the first 50 females to enter get a free shot of tequila. This all goes down inside the palm island night club!

Its “Party time Fridays” inside Club Next where ladies enter free before midnight and guys get to pay only $10. Music will be provided by Fada Church from the alliance crew.

Also inside club next on Saturday it’s the thing called “SEDUCTION” THE DOLLAR-RAMA edition. But get this…you pay only $1 before 1a.m. to get inside. Music will be provided by Tagg International that’s Jago, Bobo and D-Nice! It’s a 21 and over party so dress to impress!

For ma people down west, Galen University’s SGA presents “BUMP IT UP” the first bash of the year, tonight in San Ignacio Cayo inside Meluchi’s. The party starts at 10 p.m. and its only $10 to get in. all proceeds go towards the construction of Galen’s pedestrian ramp.

On Sunday also in San Ignacio there will be a darts tournament at the Canto bar. It’s free for Open singles and open doubles. It starts at 11am.

Calling all party lovers in Belmopan and surrounding villages. It all goes down tonight as reggae ton meets dancehall. La cabana presents an explosive Friday night as Belize’s top 2 djs go head on. Dj super Mario and dj bigzz will be on the turntables the entire night.

On Saturday also at la cabana its “Latinos night” there will be reggae ton cumbia, meringue, techno, Punta, dancehall, hip hop and so much more. It’s the biggest night of the week featuring Dj Flako and a guess dj this Saturday and every Saturday inside la Cabana!

For those of you who prefer to plan ahead La cabana didn’t forget you. Coby entertainment presents “the slumber party” it’s a birthday bash for Dj Fingaz they’ll be music by cloud nine sounds, eclipse sounds, and Tagg International. Giveaways include: Campar-gift baskets, smart cell phone packages, Smart phone cards, CD’s, and DVD’s, there will be a beer drinking contest and a prize for the best dressed male and female. There will also be guest appearances by Continental Cat and the Campari girls.
