Minors sleep out because of rain and Carnal Knowledge Charge follows
A fifteen year old girl in the Corozal District was reported missing by her twenty year old sister on February twelfth. The minor returned home two days later, but with news that upset her family. Police have found out that the teen left home on last Friday with another minor and they both went to San Narciso Village where they met Haider Patt and Santino Novelo at a store. According to the minor, they spent the night in an abandoned house in San Roman due to bad weather and went to a farm owned by Patt’s uncle on Saturday morning. She admitted that she had sexual intercourse with Patt at the farm and medical exams have revealed that both teenage girls are sexually active. Police have since detained Patt pending charges and are looking for Novelo. Both men are residents of San Narciso Village.

The girls went missing, but a sister had to report the matter to the police instead of their parents, how shocking is that. Parents in Belize are somehow still under the influence that Belize is still safe to send their kids out alone, leave them out of the house for three days.
Belizean men are use to abusing young girls, they do not care how old girls are, sex is sex for them, seem like they are totally devoid of human decency and respect. Find the animals and castrate them.
These young girls are too “hot”. I am a woman and never had sex so early. It was worth the wait. These girls do not realise that later on they would hope to get a decent husband and family but people want to have fun then seek a decent person for their wife.Control your hormones.To the men, why do this when you are bound to get charge anyway.
Man, i think if anyone has sex voluntarily then dont let the world know the next day. unless its against your will. First these girls are active but for some reason they tell about the men. And you know man hot they not playing to have sex with anyone who is willing to offer. Crazy Crazy!

These went out of their way to put themselves in harm’s way… if they are already active why are these men being charge. I think the parents need to be held accountable for whats going on with these kids.
Waste of tax payer’s money! These girls knew what they were going for! If the boys assaulted them then bring them before the court but if there was none of this set them free!
If only the police would pursue the gangs and drug dealers with the same intensity then Belize would be a better place. Even worse, the real sex offenders that actually assault helpless victims usually get away with it. What happen here is by no means right, but is justice being served? Given the scant resources the police have they need to prioritize what cases they should pursue.
I HOPE THAT THEY TEACH SEX EDUCATION IN THE UPPER CLASSES AND HIGH SCHOOL.
The law said a child can not consent to sex with an adult.Any grown man should know that.Lock them up for a long time, maybe they will learn a lesson.
