Gilroy Garnett Junior shot at close range
The two murders over the weekend in the old capital were followed by a shooting on Tuesday. The brief reprieve from gang warfare was broken when twenty two-year old Gilroy Garnett Junior, from an area known as PIV was shot once at close range. Garnett was reportedly walking with a female friend on Partridge Street towards Vernon Street. News Five spoke with a resident of the Lake Independence area who helped the bleeding Garnett after he was wounded.

When I hear the scream and when we run out I see the lady di run back and forth pass Partridge and Vernon. And wah young lady eena my yard she dehn just shot dah man. Then we run out yah and see he lay down pan di ground. When we come, ih turn over and try fi get up and we stabilize ah and mek ih sit down and—I mean dah wah big hole eena ih face. Last year bout round deh same time wah young man mi get shot right dah the corner deh soh right by the phone booth.”
The animals are back at the trough ready to gorge themselves on more violence. We must start convicting these princes & putting them to sleep.
As long as there are gangs there will be killings. While Innocent bystanders run the risk of being engulfed in the fire.
Police need to go into those bad neighbourhoods, and burn them all down if they have to.

I agree with Earl. Animals don’t kill for fun or street credibility (cats do bring dead mice home to please thier owners, but that’s a bonding thing, and not just for fun).
But convicted killers should be put down like animals, so that they pay the ultimate price for their crimes. Hanging might not be the answer, but lethal injection could be. Not like in the US, but a simple injection to put them to sleep. Bye bye – no more re-offending, no more innocent victims and destroyed families.

I think that the Barrow administration is enjoying this, it is a part of the plan and the reason why they have not been effective on controlling crime, it puts fear in the people that way it will lessen the likelihood of an uprising against the government, the tugs are working for this administration might not be directly but they have encouraged it and just pretending like they are interested in curtailing it, not so though it helps them to advance their Wealth building Legacy, if they want to do something about it they can easily lock down these neighborhoods one by one and do a search and when something is found take mother, father and every one that is found in the house in, since they already have information of who the tugs are for the most part this should not be hard at all.
