Should G.O.B. limit fees paid to outsource cases?
There is one unconfirmed report that upwards of four million dollars has been paid in fees to one lawyer in private practice to do government work. So tonight’s question is: Do you think G.O.B. should put a limit on what it spends on lawyer’s fees when it outsources legal work? The report doesn’t mention over what period of years the $4-million was paid, so it’s hard to judge.
But that would pay quite few FULL TIME government lawyers, so my guess is we are not getting the bang for our buck that we should.
So long as she is winning the cases then it is OK. It would be another thing if she was losing and getting top dolla
And also its not like she is being given money for doing nothing

Of course thier should be a limit on what those city lawyers get paid,after all all those $$$ come from the tax payers who are burden with such high taxes,and belize is a third world country because of the lawyers in politics who are in for them self,and family members.

The governmnet pays employees to do this then it is outsourced the the PMs ex wife. The daughter works with the ex wife so who will eventually get the money? Hell no , that is blatant disrespect to the intelligence of the Belizean people. Saddam Hussain days came to an end, Hitler days came to an end, baby Doc days came to an end. Barrows days ??????? please my Belizean, let that come to an end!
Of course, why should exwife , daughter and now brother make huge salaries from public funds. 4 million in 3 years, imagine that, I make 150 a week, so I need to work 555 years to make 4 million. never did we imagine this..
