Solid Rock Christian Academy’s cafeteria robbed at gunpoint

Solid Rock Christian Academy in Dangriga became the scene of a crime earlier today. This school is under the management of the Assemblies of God Christian Schools of Belize, with Revered Michael Evans serving as the local manager. According to Evans, while classes were in session, two armed men wearing masks robbed the school’s cafeteria. The only person inside the cafeteria at the time of the incident was a woman named Sheila, who runs the shop. Evans said that the men came from the rear of the snack shop and took Sheila’s gold chain, purse and her cellular phone. The men then fled the scene and fired two shots into the air, which caused distress to the students and teachers inside the classrooms. Sheila was unharmed, but left traumatized after the incident. The Police Department was called in and they are investigating the robbery.
